The Circle by Dave Eggers

Release date: 28th April 2017

The novel follows Mae Holland who lands a job at a powerful technology company ‘The Circle’ run by the ‘Three Wise Men’. They develop SeeChange, a camera which provides real time video with minimal effort which politicians and public figures begin to wear in a bid to be transparent. In the end Mae is forced to wear one and her identity becomes increasing public and things in her life begin to unravel.

Fifty Shades Darker by E.L James

Release date: 10th February 2017

This movie picks up where ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ left off – following Anastasia Steel’s life after she leaves Christian Grey and his persistence to get her back.

Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myrcale

Release date: December 2017

A collaboration of three stories by three different authors about 3 different teenagers as they experience a huge snowstorm during the Christmas season.

The Zookeeper’s Wife by Diane Ackerman

Release date: 31st March 2017

The book draws on the unpublished diary entries of Antonio Zabinska and tells the story of how she and her husband the director of the Warhaw Zoo in Poland at the time, saved the lives of 300 Jews who were taken prisoner in the Warhaw Ghetto after the Germans invaded Poland in 1939.

Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie

Release date: 22nd November

Murder on the Orient Express is a detective novel by Agatha Christie featuring the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot.

World War Z 2 by Max Brooks

Release date: End of 2017

The apocalyptic horror novel is a collection of individual accounts narrated by an agent of the United Nations Postwar Commission, following the devastating global conflict against the zombie plague.

It by Stephen King

Release date: 8th September 2017

The story follows seven children as they are terrorised by the eponymous being, which exploits the fears and phobias of its victims in order to disguise itself while hunting its prey. “It” usually appears as a clown.

The story of Roland of Gilead on a quest to catch the man in black and his steps towards his final destination, the Dark Tower.
